MedWorth is a wholly owned subsidiary of The SSI Group. SSI leads the healthcare industry in claims management technology, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platforms and networking. The company annually processes over 350 million transactions totaling in excess of $700 billion dollars in billed claims revenue for its providers.

The company offers a wide range of provider / payer / physician services and technologies for managing the revenue cycle - claims processing (ASP / Direct / Clearinghouse), document management and business office outsourcing of paper claims.

In 2008, SSI founded MedWorth on the premise that each of those 300 million data exchanges contained useful information that could be captured and analyzed to make financially sound business decisions. This belief is now a reality with MedWorth's flagship product, A/Rchitect, a comprehensive business analytics tool.

The MedWorth A/Rchitect tool gives providers a clear competitive advantage to managing financial and operational issues in any healthcare setting. MedWorth's goal is to deliver a cost effective analytics solution to help our customer's measure, analyze and improve their business operations.

Meet the Team:

Tom Myers
VP & COO - MedWorth, LLC

Tom Myers is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of MedWorth, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The SSI Group. He joined the company in 2008, coming from IBM's Business Consulting Services practice where he specialized in strategy consulting across a wide variety of industries including healthcare, consumer electronics, IT products and services, telecommunications, and facilities services. Engagements with Fortune 500 clients ranged from corporate strategy to operational efficiency studies, financial modeling, analytics and reporting, product development, and IT program management. At MedWorth, Tom's team continues to lead the development of best practice healthcare analytics and business intelligence platforms centered around revenue cycle performance, reimbursement modeling, and benchmarking. MedWorth is also working to improve healthcare providers' access to working capital through better valuation techniques related to accounts receivables and the claims process.

Tom Myers earned Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, and holds two patents in telecommunications system design.

Brian Campbell
Director, Business Development

Brian Campbell is Director, Business Development for MedWorth, LLC, a fully owned subsidiary of the SSI Group, Inc. Brian joined MedWorth, LLC in 2011 with more than 10 years of experience in operations and corporate sales and marketing within the healthcare industry. Brian is responsible for leveraging SSI's expansive database of healthcare industry claims and EDI clearinghouse expertise and selling advanced business intelligence (BI) analytics and reporting solutions to hospitals, physician practices and payers -- real-time strategic insight for healthcare finance managers.

Prior to joining MedWorth, LLC, Brian held senior sales and leadership positions with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Biogen Idec, and GlaxoSmithKline.

Brian Campbell earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master's degree in business administration from the Manderson Graduate School of Business, University of Alabama. Brian is a Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserves and is assigned to Commander, Second Fleet homeported in Norfolk, VA. Brian enjoys spending time with his family, boating, fishing, and reading.

David B. Mercer
Manager, Modeling & Research

David Mercer is Manager of Modeling & Research for MedWorth, LLC, a fully owned subsidiary of the SSI Group, Inc. David joined MedWorth in 2009 after eight years at its parent company, SSI. David is responsible for developing and maintaining statistical models related to the healthcare revenue cycle and a variety of investment scenarios from a financial industry standpoint. David is also responsible for the analysis of market information and operational data for the purpose of enhancing and promoting the MedWorth's products and services.

Prior to joining SSI, David was Director of Data Management Services at Digital Impact in San Mateo, California. Along with David's five years experience at Oracle, David has over twenty years professional experience in managing large data sets, forecasting and analysis.

David Mercer earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and master's degree in Computer Science from the University of South Alabama. David is a former paratrooper in the United States Army and is currently the father of two.

Vernon A. Coleman, Jr.
Program Manager, Business Applications, Operations & Implementation

Vernon Coleman is the Program Manager; Business Applications Development for MedWorth, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the SSI Group, Inc. He joined the company in 2009 with more than 20 years of experience in information technology development, project management, system security and operations deployment. Vernon is responsible for the planning and oversight of all projects and phases of application development and implementation, leveraging SSI's expansive database of healthcare industry claims and remittances to perform high level solution architecting.

Prior to joining MedWorth, LLC, Vernon held various leadership, command and director positions in the U.S. Air Force and at ITT Technical Institute. He has an extensive background in both information technology and technology based education.
Vernon earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Troy State University and a master's degree in Management Information Technology from American InterContinental University. Vernon is a retired Captain, U.S. Air Force, and has developed information technology courses for several universities.
